Pavement Solutions:
Improved Pavement Performance Over Trench Cuts and Other Localized Repairs Using Geogrid
Pavements, especially on county and municipal roads, rarely complete their life cycle without multiple repairs from numerous trenches and other underground work. It is difficult to restore the structural capacity of the pavement and the integrity of the surface in these localized repairs, resulting in distress and failure under the continuing traffic loading. In this webinar, we will discuss the use of Tensar TriAx Geogrid to improve areas of localized repair, including trench cuts, localized base failure, and lane widenings or extensions. Topics covered will include evaluating distress, trenching through existing pavements which include geogrid, determining the required thickness of repaired sections, and recommended details for repaired areas to improve the structural capacity and reduce failures.

A 1-hour PDH Certificate will be provided to all attendees.
