Your reputation is at stake anytime your stamp is used on a design.
At Tensar, we don’t take this lightly. That’s why we have invested extensively in research and testing of our TriAx Geogrid, proving its design and performance parameters time and again. You can use your stamp with confidence every time TriAx Geogrid is specified in a design. Don’t risk using products with unproven technologies. Click the chart to compare the amount of research that TriAx Geogrid has undergone compared to other geosynthetic products.
When your TriAx spec is challenged by another geosynthetic product, make sure you have an accurate comparison of performance. Our "Specifier Checklist" will allow you to thoroughly review the design parameters and help you protect your TriAx spec. Click the button below to download.
After three decades of extensive research validated by leading experts, Tensar welcomes you to a new era of pavement design: Pavement Optimization. Pavement optimization with TriAx Geogrid works within the AASHTO design methodology, allowing you to precisely quantify the benefit of integrating a mechanically stabilized layer (MSL) into the roadway section. This allows you to design for increased performance and lower your risk while maximizing the project’s cost-effectiveness.
TriAx Geogrid has helped pavement engineers around the world optimize their designs to get the longest service life for their budget. Due to its ability to efficiently confine aggregate, TriAx reduces the required aggregate thickness while improving the overall performance. Whether you need maximum life, reduced construction costs or the optimum design for a fixed budget, TriAx Geogrid puts you in control. Here's just one real world example of how TriAx Geogrid saved an estimated $1 million on a roadway project in New York with poor subbase materials and degraded asphalt.
At Tensar International, finding solutions that lower construction costs and bring added value is our top priority. That’s why we put our experts to work, showing engineers and contractors around the world how to build smarter infrastructure using geogrid technology. With decades of research and real-world experience under our belt, our geogrid solutions bring significant cost and time savings across a wide range of civil applications like:

A geogrid is a geosynthetic material used to stabilize soil. Geogrids have openings, called apertures, which allow aggregate to strike through and provide confinement and interlock. Geogrids can improve the long-term performance of paved and unpaved roadways by minimizing aggregate movement and maintaining modulus values.
Compared to other geotextiles or flexible grids, Tensar TriAx Geogrids spread road loads over a wider area of subgrade, lessening the impact of heavy loads and reducing installation and maintenance costs.
