Robert Johnson has eleven years of experience designing Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) structures in various applications including heavy civil and design-build for federal, state, and local-level municipalities across the United States as well as projects located in Canada and Hong Kong. Over four million vertical square feet of MSE structures have been designed and are in service. In the last five years, he has focused on developing internal and external engineers, overseeing the design work of the Tensar engineering group related to MSE wall and slope applications, and building relationships with local universities. In his current role, he serves as the Application and Market Manager for Walls & Slopes in the Western Hemisphere.
Mr. Johnson is a Professional Engineer registered in Georgia, Massachusetts, New York, and Pennsylvania. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently completing his M.B.A. degree at Kennesaw State University.
